The City of Fort Collins is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician for the Transfort maintenance facility. The City of Fort Collins Fleet team is looking for a Fleet Maintenance Technician to support keeping our vehicles in good condition so that they are safe, reliable, and can stay on the road. This position will work at the Transfort Maintenance Facility with a team of technicians, fuelers, and drivers in an up-to-date, well-equipped shop. Our fleet includes 50+ transit buses, both Natural Gas and Electric, and about 30 standard fleet vehicles that run in all kinds of weather and conditions.
This position works a compressed work-week: Either Monday - Thursday OR Tuesday– Friday, 2:00pm-12:30am; this schedules earn 7.5% shift differential pay. Uniforms, safety shoes, and safety equipment are provided. CDL, relevant technology training, and licensing are provided if needed.
What qualifications are we looking for? Basic knowledge of automobile and/or truck repair and service. Ownership of basic vehicle repair tools like sockets, wrenches, and pliers.
