Job summary

Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL invites skilled Transportation Maintenance Mechanic candidates to join our fleet services team. The role covers maintenance on a diverse vehicle fleet including SUVs, semis, forklifts, and tram vehicles across the resort.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in automotive maintenance, a valid Florida CDL with passenger endorsement, MVAC 609 certification within 90 days, and ASE certs within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida CDL Class A or B driver's license with passenger endorsement or ability to obtain before hire.
• Minimum 4 years in automotive maintenance.
• MVAC 609 refrigerant recovery certification within 90 days of hire.
• ASE certifications within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in industrial preventative maintenance and transit/equipment maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting engines, drivetrains, electrical components.
• Experience rebuilding and repairing gearboxes.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in standard office software and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, corrective and unplanned maintenance on transportation vehicles
• Troubleshoot and repair brakes, hydraulic equipment, air systems, suspension, A/C and exhaust
• Handle cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Use PPE as required
