Job summary

The Walt Disney World Resort invites you to be our Guest and explore Transportation Mechanic opportunities. Full Time Transportation Maintenance Mechanic roles require full availability for any shift, seven days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities include maintenance of the Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts fleet, repairing gearboxes, and working in various vehicles and equipment across the resort.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida CDL with passenger endorsement or ability to obtain before hire.
• Minimum of 4 years in automotive maintenance.
• MVAC 609 refrigerant recovery certification within 90 days of hire.
• ASE certifications within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in industrial preventative maintenance and repair of fleet equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing engine emission, driveline, and electrical components.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with standard office software and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, corrective and unplanned maintenance on transportation vehicles.
• Troubleshoot and repair brakes, hydraulic equipment, air systems, suspension, and emissions components.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and PPE as required.
• Work from elevated platforms and in confined spaces across the resort property.
