Job summary

The Area Fleet B Mechanic at Walt Disney Company is responsible for keeping the bus fleet in repair so guests arrive safely and on time. This field service role may involve elevated platforms and confined spaces across Walt Disney World Parks and Resort property.

Responsibilities include DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, daily fleet checks, and handling cleaning chemicals. Qualifications include Florida CDL with endorsements, EPA MVAC 609, and 4 years of diesel tech experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida CDL Class A or B with passenger endorsement or ability to obtain by hire date.
• EPA MVAC 609 Air Conditioning certification.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience as Diesel Tech/Mechanic.
• Experience performing maintenance on over-the-road coaches or semi-heavy duty trucks.
• Ability to interpret schematics and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform annual DOT inspections on the bus fleet.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on transit vehicles.
• Answer non-routine service calls and perform daily fleet inspections.
• Fueling and minor repairs at satellite maintenance facility.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and PPE as required.
