SG Plumbing Management is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician in Glendale Heights, IL for a role offering $21-$32/hour (DOE) with steady hours and no layoffs. Expect hands-on work maintaining fleet vehicles, light trucks, and jobsite equipment, along with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and data-logging of service records.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on automotive or fleet mechanic experience.
• Ability to diagnose issues, not just swap parts.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; able to lift 75–100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair fleet vehicles, light trucks, and jobsite equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Manage and track parts, tools, and shop inventory.
• Support warehouse organization and material handling as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop and yard.
• Keep accurate service logs and maintenance records.
