Job summary

VIP Auto Accessories is hiring an Automotive Technician for our fleet maintenance division in St. Louis. You’ll perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of fleet vehicles, using advanced diagnostic tools to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

You will also inspect vehicles for safety and provide clear timelines to customers. The role requires 3+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience, ASE/manufacturer certifications preferred, and a valid driver’s

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on automotive and/or diesel repair experience.
ASe/Manufacturer certifications are preferred.
Strong diagnostic skills with modern diagnostic equipment.
Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus.
Ability to work independently and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles including light- and medium-duty trucks and vans.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with diagnostic tools.
Complete inspections ensuring safety and compliance standards.
Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair timelines to customers.
Collaborate with scheduling teams to prioritize urgent repairs and minimize downtime.
Recommend proactive maintenance strategies to prevent future issues.
