Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Fleet Preventative Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and inspections on a dispersed fleet. You will maximize equipment availability, reduce downtime, and support safety and customer service standards across locations.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years of mechanic experience, and expertise in diagnostic equipment and PM scheduling. Field-based with local travel and a strong safety culture are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or trade school certification preferred.
• Minimum of two years of mechanic experience with knowledge of preventive maintenance scheduling.
• Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostic equipment and repair practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles across locations.
• Inspect, diagnose, clean, lubricate, and service equipment while identifying concerns.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work logs using approved systems.
• Communicate with stakeholders to schedule maintenance and support fleet operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering parts and supplies.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Provide guidance on preventive maintenance to support reliability and performance.
