Job summary

The role focuses on maximizing uptime, safety, and reliability while working both independently and with dispatch teams.

You will document work, follow maintenance procedures, and support parts sourcing. The position may require local travel and a second-shift schedule based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification preferred.
• At least 2 years of mechanic experience with preventive maintenance scheduling.
• Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and repair best practices.
• Valid driver’s license; background, MVR, and drug screening may apply.
• ASE certification and hydraulic equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles across assigned locations.
• Inspect, diagnose, clean, lubricate, and service equipment while identifying potential concerns.
• Maintain maintenance records, work logs, inspections, and inventory documentation.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to schedule maintenance activities and support fleet operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering parts and maintenance materials.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with policies and safety regulations.
• Provide recommendations to improve maintenance practices and equipment reliability.
