Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician for an entry-level role that trains you to become a skilled fleet mechanic. You’ll work on a variety of fleet vehicles, perform essential maintenance and basic repairs, with hands-on training and real opportunities for advancement.

You’ll handle oil changes, tire rotations, inspect fluids, run basic vehicle inspections, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while collaborating with senior mechanics and your team.

• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced mechanics.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic repairs on fleet vehicles.

• Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report findings to senior mechanics or supervisors.

• Inspect and top off vehicle fluids (coolant, brake, transmission, etc.)
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report findings to senior mechanics or supervisors
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist with other entry-level fleet maintenance and repair tasks as needed
• Strong interest in fleet maintenance, vehicle repair, or becoming a mechanic
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced fleet mechanics
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic knowledge of vehicle systems is a plus, but not required
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
