Job summary

FCC Environmental Services is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to perform repairs on trucks and trailers, conduct preventative maintenance, and diagnose issues in a fast-paced environment. You will help ensure fleet safety and reliability across our service vehicles, with emphasis on A/C, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years of fleet maintenance experience, read schematics, and can use diagnostic software.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years fleet maintenance experience.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing A/C, hydraulic, and electrical systems on heavy-duty trucks.

Responsibilities

Performs minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers.
Conducts routine preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspections, tire rotations, and oil changes.
Collaborates with the repair team to diagnose vehicle issues and develop repair solutions.
Maintains accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.
Repairs and maintains fleet vehicles to ensure safe, efficient operation.
Completes all required preventative maintenance tasks and safety inspections.
Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical malfunctions including electrical, hydraulic, and A/C systems.
Inspects fleet vehicles to ensure DOT compliance and safety.
Maintains inventories and prepares maintenance reports.
