Job summary

Sysco in Harrisburg is seeking a fleet technician to perform inspections and preventive maintenance on tractors, trailers, lift gates and related equipment. You will diagnose and repair to OEM specifications, document work in SAP, and support safe, reliable vehicle operations.

Shifts are 4 x 10-hour, Tuesday through Friday starting at 3 PM. The role offers quarterly incentives, boot and tool allowances, and comprehensive benefits with a stable, growing company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-year technician training in medium/heavy duty trucks.
• ASE certification or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in fleet maintenance and repair is valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to maximize safety and reliability of fleet vehicles.
• Perform repairs to manufacturer specifications on engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, HVAC and lift-gate systems.
• Document all work in SAP Work Orders.
• Maintain proficiency in Sysco computer programs.
