Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Fleet Preventative Maintenance Technician to support safe, reliable fleet operations across multiple locations. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and routine service on a variety of vehicles and equipment, helping maximize availability and minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or trade school certification preferred.
• Minimum of two years of mechanic experience with knowledge of preventative maintenance scheduling and fleet equipment service.
• Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostic equipment, mechanical systems, and repair best practices.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background, MVR, and pre-employment drug screening.
• ASe certification and hydraulic equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform preventative maintenance activities on fleet vehicles and equipment across assigned locations.
• Inspect, diagnose, clean, lubricate, and service equipment while identifying potential mechanical or operational concerns.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work logs, inspections, and inventory documentation using approved systems and processes.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to schedule maintenance activities and support efficient fleet operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering parts, supplies, and maintenance materials as needed.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with company policies, environmental standards, and safety regulations.
• Provide recommendations and guidance regarding preventative maintenance practices to support equipment reliability and performance.
