Job summary
Republic Services in Houston, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to perform routine preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. Qualifications
- Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
- ASE Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
- 1–3 years of experience.
- Ability to follow SOPs and troubleshoot common faults.
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a basic knowledge of a vehicle's mechanical and electrical systems to perform basic preventive maintenance and some repair functions.
- Oil changes and fluids replenishment; adjustments and light repairs including tire changes.
- Basic electrical work such as light changes; conduct visual inspections to identify issues.
- Completes applicable Company training programs.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
