Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–4 years automotive mechanic experience or equivalent.
• Ability to operate independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting safety rules, manuals, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair fleet vehicle chassis and back-end tank systems.
• Service tractors, forklifts, small engines and equipment like aerators and spreaders.
• Document all repairs in the maintenance system.
• Maintain parts inventory and clean work area.
• Coordinate outsourced maintenance with vendors.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs.
• Prepare and manage maintenance budget.
• Respond to vehicle and equipment breakdowns in the field.
