Job summary

TruGreen is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Redmond, WA to perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on production equipment, fleet vehicles, and specialized equipment. You will diagnose and repair various systems and document all work in an electronic maintenance management system.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 1–4 years of automotive mechanic experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

• High school diploma or GED with 1–4 years automotive mechanic experience.
• Ability to operate independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals.
• Strong math skills for calculations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair fleet vehicle chassis and back-end tank, pump and spray systems.
• Diagnose and repair tractors, forklifts, small engines and related equipment.
• Document all repairs in an electronic maintenance management system.
• Maintain parts inventory and clean, orderly work area.
• Coordinate outsourced maintenance with vendors and service providers.
• Develop and run preventative maintenance programs.
• Prepare and manage the maintenance budget.
• Respond to vehicle and equipment breakdowns in the field as needed.
