Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. in Waseca, MN is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain medium and heavy-duty trucks and trailers for reliable operation.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, read schematics and service manuals, and use diagnostic software. A Class A CDL is required or obtainable, with DOT/FMCSA knowledge and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of experience in maintenance and repair of medium/heavy-duty transportation equipment.
• Valid Class A CDL or ability to obtain CDL; knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair medium/heavy-duty equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Read vehicle schematics and service manuals; document repairs.
• Operate diagnostic tools and ensure safety and OSHA compliance.
• Maintain records and coordinate with fleet operations.
• Lift/move up to 50 lbs and work overtime as needed.
