Job summary

MV Transportation in Livermore, CA seeks a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to oversee shift maintenance, preventative care, and repairs for a large fleet of buses and sedans. Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of repair and preventive maintenance experience.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
• ASE certification preferred; willing to certify.
• Prior supervisory experience with crews of 6+.
• Computer skills including Word, spreadsheets, and MS Outlook.
• Must possess a California Motor Vehicle Inspection License.
• Must have a valid California Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Maintenance Manager and leads to schedule/ resume vehicle maintenance.
• Review work orders and ensure production schedules; set shift production times.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings; prioritize and assign tasks; oversee inspections and service.
• Supervise staff to ensure timely completion of jobs and cleanup; communicate expectations.
• Monitor and record employee time, attendance, and overtime; manage time-off requests.
• Train staff on vehicle service and repair tasks including basic and major components.
