Republic Services is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor in New Jersey to lead a shop crew responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs on trucks, containers, and heavy equipment. The role ensures safety and regulatory compliance while coordinating timely service in a dynamic facility.
The Supervisor guides technicians, manages workflow, and collaborates with management to drive performance improvements, maintain records, and meet budget targets.
The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising a maintenance shop under the umbrella responsibility of a Maintenance Manager. The Supervisor leads a technician (mechanic) team that performs preventive maintenance and repair of a fleet, machinery that supports a post‑collection facility, and equipment that services the container shop. The Supervisor provides direction to technicians to ensure all repairs and maintenance of trucks (diesel and alternate fuel), containers, and other heavy‑duty equipment are performed in compliance with company safety and compliance standards, as well as all federal and state regulations. The Supervisor plans and schedules repair work for the group to ensure that all work is completed safely and timely, reducing lost productivity.

$86,400.00 to $118,800.00* (actual range depends on locality).
*Reflects the minimum wage in multiple jurisdictions.
Bonus – Annual Incentive Plan Target, 10% Annual.
