Job summary

Jobtailor in Illinois seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a heavy equipment maintenance team in a high-volume shop. You will supervise a fleet maintenance program, plan repairs, and ensure safety compliance.

The role requires 3 years in heavy equipment maintenance, 1 year in supervision, and ASE Master Certified with related certifications. You will manage payroll, records, and budget for the shop, while maintaining DOT/OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• ASE Master Certified and related ASE certifications (T2 Diesel Engine, T3 Drive, T4 Brake, T5 Suspension and Steering, T6 Electrical/Electronic, T7 HVAC Systems).
• 3 years of experience in maintenance working with heavy equipment.
• 1 year of supervisory experience in a lead technician or management role with knowledge of safe working practices, DOT, OSHA and related regulations.
