Job summary

Perdue Farms, Inc. seeks a Garage Supervisor to lead fleet technicians, diagnose equipment issues, and perform maintenance to OEM specs and DOT regulations. You will mentor a skilled team, enforce safety, and optimize shop productivity to keep fleet ready for daily operations.

Base salary ranges from $68,000 to $85,000 per year with an annual bonus; a comprehensive benefits package supports health, retirement, and protection needs for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of mechanical processes.
• Knowledge of standard computer software applications.
• Mechanical experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fleet technicians in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and equipment.
• Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure a skilled and efficient team.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks comply with OEM specifications and DOT safety regulations.
• Monitor work quality to maintain high standards of service and vehicle reliability.
• Schedule and prioritize repairs to minimize downtime and maximize fleet availability.
• Ensure all maintenance activities align with DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address safety risks.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation for compliance audits.
• Assign tasks and manage workloads to optimize productivity.
