Position Summary

The "Ops Supervisor" assists the Ops Manager / Sr. Ops Manager with the operations and personnel for a shift at a specific location. The Operations Supervisor may supervise employees on a shift, including Technicians, Customer Service Coordinators, Technicians, and Service Employees. The role involves achieving results, meeting business objectives, and balancing financial, operational, quality, safety, and asset targets. The Supervisor manages location performance against metrics and is cross-trained to support shop functions. Adherence to Ryder Maintenance Operations policies and procedures is essential.

This position can serve as a developmental role for future Ops Managers, offering career growth opportunities based on performance. It includes a competitive salary, yearly bonus, full benefits, 401k match, PTO, and share discounts.

Monday-Friday, 6 AM - 3 PM

Essential Functions

• Workflow Management: Responsible for work analysis, planning, scheduling, productivity tracking, and team meetings.
• Warranty Compliance: Ensure warranty policies are followed.
• Customer Management: Handle unscheduled drive-ins, communicate with customers, and assign work.
• Asset Management: Oversee location maintenance, tooling, equipment, and vehicle specifications.
• Quality Management: Conduct inspections, root cause analysis, and ensure repair quality.
• Cost and Safety: Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure safety and EPA compliance.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities

• Professional representation and customer interaction skills.
• Vehicle diagnostics and repair knowledge (preferred).
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (preferred).

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 1-3 years of maintenance operations experience (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• Maintenance and technical shop experience required.
• Supervisory experience (preferred).
• Experience with Shop Management Systems (preferred).
