Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Brake Certification or Refrigerant Recovery Certification is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Stable work history preferred, ideally 1-2+ years with current employer.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and equipment issues.
  • Perform mechanical repairs and ensure vehicles remain safe and operational.
  • Identify potential maintenance issues before they lead to downtime.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Follow all safety, maintenance, and operating procedures.
  • Assist, guide, and mentor less experienced mechanics.
  • Support overall fleet reliability and operational readiness.
