Job summary

Kinder Morgan's Trinity Terminal in Alabama is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a 16-person team responsible for the maintenance of a fleet of 80+ rolling stock and heavy equipment. You will manage safety, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance across multiple equipment types.

You will ensure adherence to procedures, train staff, schedule work, and maintain accurate records while supporting operations with on-call readiness and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 6 - 10 years of experience managing maintenance operations for large heavy mobile equipment fleets.
• Experience with 100-ton and 60-ton haul trucks and other heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, powertrain systems, braking systems, and mobile equipment electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience managing maintenance programs, parts inventories, budgets, and personnel for fleets consisting of 80+ pieces of rolling stock.

Responsibilities

• Follow KM procedures, safety rules, and federal/state laws.
• Oversee repairs and maintenance of heavy mobile equipment.
• Direct troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems on mobile equipment.
• Organize and maintain crew/work schedules to meet customer needs within budget.
• Train and develop subordinates in repairs and service.
• Maintain accurate records and document site operations.
• Coordinate with terminal management to schedule repairs and communicate plans.
