Qualifications

• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of tractor and trailer maintenance preferred and DOT rules helpful.
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills; multitasking and organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead, educate and develop fleet maintenance employees.
• Ensure high-quality, timely equipment repairs.
• Monitor performance and provide corrective action.
• Plan daily staffing to meet workload.
• Support Operations on equipment-related issues.
• Analyze opportunities to cut costs and improve efficiencies.
• Handle payroll approval and compliance documentation.
• Maintain safe working conditions in the shop.
• Collaborate with Safety and other departments on investigations.
• Communicate with Fleet Maintenance leadership as needed.
