The position requires 3+ years in transportation maintenance and preferred supervisory experience, plus formal MIG/TIG welding training and DOT/compliance awareness. CDL is a plus as the company expands its nationwide operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in transportation
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Strong safety and compliance mindset

Responsibilities

• Oversee and plan maintenance activities for Arcwood Transport fleet
• Prioritize health and safety and maintain safe practices
• Develop and manage safe/workplace relationships with vendors
• Review expenses related to inventories to stay within budget
• Create and update maintenance manuals and DOT-compliant files
• Plan and schedule maintenance to meet dispatch obligations
• Ensure accurate work orders and proper parts billing
• Hire, train, and evaluate maintenance staff; set shop hours
• Take on additional duties to support the team
