Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking an automotive technician to perform basic diagnostic and repair work across our fleet of vehicles, including cars, trucks, vans, and material handling equipment. The role offers independence and requires you to supply your own basic hand tools; shop-provided diagnostic equipment is available.

You will complete oil and filter changes, perform preventative maintenance, document work performed, and respond to road calls while maintaining records and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to reach, lift, carry, push and pull.
• Able to speak English.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose failures of vehicles and disassemble, repair and reassemble parts as necessary.
• Complete oil and filter changes
• Take direction from senior technicians and supervisors
• Computer-based diagnostics interface with modern truck interfaces
• Basic computer use (email and web browser)
• Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles
• Answer road calls
• Maintain vehicle records as required
• Maintain and repair fleet equipment
• Fill out all necessary documents
• Maintain records such as daily check list (pre-trip inspection)
