The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a dependable Fleet Shop Assistant to join our Fleet Services team. Working under a Fleet Supervisor, you’ll support day-to-day operations, transport vehicles, assist technicians, perform minor repairs, operate shop equipment, and prepare retired vehicles for auction.

This hands-on role requires reliability, teamwork, and good time management. Ideal candidates have experience in the vehicle maintenance industry and a valid Florida driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School graduation or equivalent (GED or diploma).
• Experience in vehicle maintenance is preferred.
• Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day fleet operations under supervision.
• Transport vehicles and equipment as needed.
