Budget Car and Truck Rental of Omaha is seeking an experienced, hands-on candidate to help maintain and manage our rental fleet. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys a shop environment and takes on responsibilities similar to an assistant manager.

The responsibilities include in-fleeting and out-fleeting vehicles, oil changes, tire repairs, ordering supplies and parts, and completing other light mechanical duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing fleet vehicles is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform outdoor work.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• In-fleeting and out-fleeting vehicles as they are acquired or sold.
• Perform oil changes and tire repairs.
• Order supplies and parts and manage basic shop duties.
• Keep fleet organized and running smoothly.

Budget is looking for an experienced, hands‑on individual to help maintain and manage our rental fleet. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a shop environment while taking on responsibilities similar to an assistant manager.

Responsibilities include "in-fleeting" new vehicles, "out-fleeting" vehicles as they are sold, performing oil changes, tire repairs and replacements, ordering supplies and parts, and completing other light mechanical duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, responsible, handy, and a team player who can help keep the fleet organized and running smoothly.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, standard 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, approximately 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Good Driving Record
• Able to lift 70lbs.
• 21 Years of Age or Older
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Ability to work outside in the elements as required
• Experience doing Tire Repairs on a Tire Machine, and Oil Changes
