Casella Construction, Inc. offers a Summer Intern position in Fleet & Maintenance Administration in Pittsford, VT.

This paid internship focuses on hands-on fleet operations, maintenance documentation, inventory organization, and SOP development within a heavy construction environment. You will work closely with the Fleet Manager, learning management functions, data reporting, and KPI development while gaining real-world insight into project support and operations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program related to construction management, business administration, engineering, logistics, or a similar field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with computers, spreadsheets, and digital filing systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with organizing and labeling the parts room to improve efficiency and inventory control.
• Identify obsolete, unused, or excess parts and help prepare items for sale or disposal.
• Support inventory tracking and documentation efforts.
• Help organize and audit equipment files and maintenance records within the fleet management software system.
• Assist with cleaning up, standardizing, and updating digital and paper records.
• Support the review and improvement of maintenance continuity documentation.
• Assist in gathering and organizing data for KPIs related to fleet and maintenance operations.
