Job summary

Nimbus Meadows Partners in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to lead logistics for critical renewable energy projects, overseeing the transportation fleet, coordinating with drivers and partners, and ensuring on-time deliveries with safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have several years in transportation management, a valid CDL, strong communication and multitasking skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic office setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in transportation supervision or similar.
• Strong knowledge of transportation management software and systems.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Valid CDL and a clean driving record.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Understanding of renewable energy projects and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily transportation operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials and equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors and drivers to schedule and track shipments, optimize routes and reduce costs.
• Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities, including vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and driver performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and vehicle maintenance standards.
• Handle transportation-related issues or emergencies with quick solutions to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with operations to align transportation with project timelines.
• Provide regular reports on transportation metrics and suggest efficiency improvements.
