This unique afternoon/evening shift reduces morning chaos and keeps the shop organized while you perform basic maintenance, fuel logging, and reporting of any issues to management.

Applicants must be 18+, have a valid driver's license with a clean record, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Fuel fueling: Safely fill fuel tanks on landscaping trucks and equipment.
• Fluid Checks: Check and top off oil, coolant, and windshield washer fluids daily.
• Basic Maintenance: Clean air filters, scrape mower decks, and check tire pressure.
• Blade Inspection: Inspect mower blades for damage and report sharpening needs.
• Organization: Keep the shop, fueling area, and trailers clean and organized.
• Reporting: Log fuel usage and report mechanical issues to management.

We are looking for a reliable, organized Fleet & Landscape Equipment Porter to join our shop team. Your primary mission is to ensure our 7 landscaping trucks and commercial mowing equipment are fully fueled, maintained, and ready to roll before the crews arrive the next morning.This is a unique afternoon/evening shift that eliminates morning chaos and keeps our field crews moving efficiently. If you enjoy hands‑on work, small engine maintenance, and taking ownership of an organized shop, this role is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fueling: Safely fill fuel tanks on 8 landscaping trucks and all small engine equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers).
• Fluid Checks: Check and top off oil, coolant, and windshield washer fluids daily.
• Basic Maintenance: Clean air filters, scrape mower decks, and check tire pressure.
• Blade Inspection: Inspect mower blades for damage and report sharpening needs.
• Organization: Keep the shop, fueling area, and trailer setups clean and organized.
• Reporting: Log fuel usage and report any mechanical issues or damage to management immediately.

Daily Duties Include:

• Shop prep & equipment maintenance
• Yard staging
• Fleet turnaround and fueling
• Shop lockdown and reporting

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required to move trucks in the yard).
• Basic experience with small engines, commercial lawn mowers, or automotive maintenance.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials, tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation and work comfortably in a shop/outdoor environment.
• Strong punctuality and the ability to work independently.
