Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles or other equipment to identify abuse, damage, and mechanical malfunction.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections on DOT vehicles to ensure safe operation and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Prepare reports on investigations or inspections and actions taken.
• Issue notices and recommend corrective actions when infractions or problems are found.
• Investigate complaints regarding safety violations.
• Walk the lot throughout the shift clearing any debris.
• Perform minor maintenance to fleet including but not limited to, changing headlights and wipers.
• Support warehouse operations.
• Other duties as directed by management/ownership.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Inspect vehicles or other equipment to identify abuse, damage, and mechanical malfunction

Required Experience:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in transportation safety, compliance, or inspection.

Warehouse Experience preferred.

Experience with driver evaluations, vehicle inspections, and regulatory compliance preferred.
