Job summary

Cinterra is seeking an experienced Mechanic/fabricator to join its team in support of electrical utility and solar construction projects. You will maintain, repair, and assemble machinery and vehicles, transforming raw materials into finished components with precision.

The ideal candidate will be physically fit, detail-oriented, with solid knowledge of basic mechanic's tools, diagnostic equipment, and safety procedures. Own tools and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required; vocational certification preferred.
• 6 months+ mechanic experience; own tools; valid driver’s license (CDL a plus).
• Experience with machinery, hydraulics, electrical systems; ability to read instructions/blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance on machinery and vehicles.
• Identify root causes and resolve issues promptly.
• Assemble mechanical components per specifications; oversee tests and diagnostics.
• Operate fabrication tools and welding equipment; apply lubricants and maintain records.
• Monitor inventory and assist with parts orders; ensure health and safety compliance.
