Job summary

Flagger Force in the eastern United States is seeking an Operations Manager, Fleet and Facilities to oversee the company’s 3,000+ vehicle fleet, multi-location facilities, and distributed warehouse network. You will set standards for fleet deployment, maintenance, and disposition while ensuring field crews have the equipment and facilities they need to operate safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive operations leadership with P&L accountability.
• Experience managing large-scale, multi-site fleet operations (500+ vehicles preferred).
• Proven ability to lead teams of 20+ across distributed locations, including managers.
• Experience in facilities/warehouse operations with multi-location oversight.
• Background in DOT/FMCSA compliance, fleet maintenance program development, and vendor management.
• Track record of implementing operational process improvements with measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Own full lifecycle of fleet and facilities, including deployment, maintenance, and disposition.
• Manage inventory control, staging, and 99%+ accuracy across warehouses.
• Lead fleet forecasting, facility planning, and capex to support growth.
• Negotiate and manage enterprise agreements with vehicle manufacturers and vendors.
• Control costs across fleet, facilities, inventory, and capex, focusing on TCO.
• Ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance and conduct audits with Safety.
• Lead a multi-tiered team across fleet, warehouse, and facilities.
• Use KPI frameworks and analytics to drive data-informed decisions; uptime targets.
• Drive process improvements and technology adoption across functions.
