Qualifications

• At least two years of general maintenance experience performing facilities maintenance or construction work.
• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Any combination of experience and education that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities may be qualifying.

Responsibilities

• Operate construction and maintenance equipment and power tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Respond to customer inquiries courteously and provide information.
• Document tasks in the Facilities work order system.
• Coordinate maintenance with outside contractors and city departments.
• Be available for rotating on-call schedule.
• Work up to 12 hours at a time.
• Participate in safety and risk management activities.
