Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission is seeking an Automotive and Equipment Technician 3 in Issaquah to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of vehicles and grounds equipment. Qualifications

  • Minimum five years journey-level experience diagnosing and rebuilding gas-powered vehicles.
  • Five years journey-level experience diagnosing and rebuilding on/off highway heavy equipment and diesel trucks.
  • Valid unrestricted driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Performs journey-level repair and maintenance on WA State Parks fleet including various vehicles and heavy equipment.
  • Performs major/minor repairs, overhauls and preventative maintenance.
  • Orders replacement parts as needed and coordinates with vendors when required.
  • Inspects, diagnoses and repairs on/off highway vehicles and equipment.
  • Operates hand/power tools and shop equipment to complete repairs.
  • Road tests vehicles and equipment after service.
