Job summary

Everus Construction Group, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair equipment used in the powerline industry, ensuring rental readiness.

You will diagnose, service hydraulics, trailers, electronics, and structural components, while keeping accurate records and following safety procedures. On-site collaboration with the fleet department is essential for uptime and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related trade training considered.
• Two years of maintenance/repair experience on trucks or heavy equipment, or diesel tech education.
• Combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, rebuild, and repair equipment used in the powerline industry.
• Service and repair hydraulics, trailer wiring, electronics, and structural components to ensure rental readiness.
• Inspect pulling rope and cable for damage; perform splices as instructed to maintain integrity.
• Identify mechanical problems visually and with computer diagnostics.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain records of time, materials, equipment condition, and repairs.
