Job summary

TCI Transportation seeks a Driver Manager to lead a designated fleet, ensuring drivers have the support, direction, and resources to deliver freight safely and on time. You'll coordinate freight planning, compliance, customer communication, and real-time problem-solving while building strong driver relationships and optimizing throughput.

This is a hands-on leadership role with a family-owned culture and competitive base pay plus incentives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a transportation driver management or dispatch role.
• Proven leadership in fleet oversight, scheduling, and operational logistics.
• Knowledge of DOT and OSHA compliance standards.
• Strong decision-making and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a fleet of drivers and ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries.
• Monitor and maximize productivity, mileage, and hours of service within legal parameters.
• Pre-plan loads to drive fleet efficiency and resource availability.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with customers and vendors.
• Enforce DOT compliance and safety policies.
• Maintain strong driver relationships through consistent communication.
