TCI Transportation is seeking a Driver Manager to lead a designated fleet and provide drivers with direction, support, and resources to deliver freight safely and on time.

You will serve as the main point of contact for drivers, handling freight planning, compliance, customer communication, and real-time problem-solving. This role emphasizes leadership, safety, and effective coordination across teams to ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in transportation driver management or dispatch.
• Strong leadership in fleet oversight, scheduling, and operational logistics.
• Knowledge of DOT and OSHA compliance standards.
• Sharp decision-making and analytical skills to optimize performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a fleet of drivers and ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries.
• Monitor and maximize productivity, mileage, and hours of service within legal parameters.
• Pre-plan loads and ensure resource availability for fleet efficiency.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with customers and vendors to resolve freight challenges.
• Ensure DOT compliance and enforce safety policies.
• Maintain strong driver relationships through clear, proactive communication.
