Tower Mobility LLC in Portland, OR is hiring Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle drivers to provide safe transport for riders with mobility challenges. Earn from day one with a provided vehicle, gas, maintenance, insurance, and phone, plus tips and incentives.

Positions available: Full-Time (Mon-Fri, afternoon/overnight) and Part-Time (Sat-Sun, morning/evening). Starting at $18.75/hour plus tips; benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be at least 25 years old.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver's license with 2 years of driving history.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
• UBER or LYFT ride-share driving experience is a PLUS.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation to wheelchair users.
• Safely drive and operate vehicle.
• Follow traffic laws and regulations.
• Be EXTREMELY CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED.
• Use mobile device for routing information to pick passenger up and drive to destination.

• Full-Time (Mon-Fri) Afternoon and Overnight Shifts Available

Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle Driver Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide transportation to wheelchair users
• Safely drive and operate vehicle
• Follow traffic laws and regulations
• Be EXTREMELY CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED
• Use mobile device for routing information to pick passenger up and drive to destination
• This role requires regular assistance of wheelchair passengers, including operating wheelchair ramps and securement systems, and assisting with manually operated wheelchairs. Some passengers, inclusive of their wheelchairs, may weigh up to or exceed 400 pounds.
