Job summary

Tower Mobility is seeking a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle Driver in Portland, OR. You will transport wheelchair users, drive safely, follow laws, and provide exceptional customer service using a mobile routing tool.

The role includes assisting with wheelchair ramps and seating, with passengers up to 400+ pounds, and offers full-time and part-time shifts with compensation starting at $18.75/hour plus tips and incentives.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be at least 25 years old.
• Valid U.S. driver's license with 2 years driving history.
• Pass pre-employment background and drug test.
• UBER or LYFT ride-share driving experience is a plus.

Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle Driver Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide transportation to wheelchair users
• Safely drive and operate vehicle
• Follow traffic laws and regulations
• Be EXTREMELY CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED
• Use mobile device for routing information to pick passenger up and drive to destination
• This role requires regular assistance of wheelchair passengers, including operating wheelchair ramps and securement systems, and assisting with manually operated wheelchairs. Some passengers, inclusive of their wheelchairs, may weigh up to or exceed 400 pounds
