Job summary

Triple-S Steel seeks a Traffic Coordinator to schedule drivers, coordinate routes, and ensure DOT compliance. The role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving to support on-time deliveries of steel products.

You will monitor safety issues, maintain documentation, and work with carriers to optimize routes in a fast-paced environment. Experience in fleet dispatch and proficiency with Excel and dispatch software are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with dispatch experience.
• Experience in fleet coordination or distribution operations preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Excel and dispatch tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate drivers and routes and enter assignments into the system.
• Monitor safety issues and DOT compliance daily.
• Manage daily routing and schedule efficiency.
• Ensure driver readiness and paperwork accuracy.
• Negotiate with carriers and maintain DOT documentation.
• Maintain maintenance and equipment records.
• Support other duties as assigned.
