Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a role focused on on-time performance, order accuracy, and maintaining a growing truck fleet while ensuring DOT compliance. You will assist in expanding hauler selection, ensure policy compliance, manage risk, and develop the current customer base.

The position involves safety leadership, logistics optimization, and proactive customer service across site operations, with duties including dispatch, reporting, and scale-house support as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Additional Education Preferred: Associate's degree.
• Required Work Experience: 2-3 years of industry experience.
• Required Technical Skills: Must have refined computer skills including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the internet.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Personally promote the Core value of Zero Accidents & Incidents to all operations.
• Behavior & Attitude: Demonstrate a dynamic personality; display a positive problem solving attitude.
• Inventory Management: Identify substitute products, operating hour adjustments, and service opportunities across site portfolio; maintain frequent communication with plant and sales team.
• Logistics: Coordinate directly with customers and contracted haulers; choose best haul solution for each order; maintain relationships with haulers; dispatch trucks and track performance in real time.
• Order-Taking & Customer Service: Customers’ first telephone point of contact for questions, orders, freight status, and problem resolution.
• Systems & Processes: Track scale information and produce reports; conduct spot inspections; ensure DOT compliance; flexibility to perform weigh master duties as needed.
• Demonstrate a commitment to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments.
