Jrjnet is seeking a hands-on Rental Store Diesel Technician to keep our fleet of trucks, trailers, and heavy machinery field-ready and compliant with safety standards. You will perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs, ensuring uptime and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced rental environment.

Responsibilities include preparing equipment for rental, post-rental inspections, thorough documentation, and coordination with rental managers.

Qualifications

2+ years of diesel technician experience in rental or construction fleet.
High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications in diesel, equipment maintenance, or hydraulics preferred.
Ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
Valid driver’s license required; ability to obtain DOT Medical Card (CDL is a plus).

Responsabilités

Diesel maintenance & repair: inspect, maintain, and diagnose diesel engines and power systems on fleet assets.
Prepare equipment for rental, complete post-rental inspections, and address repairs promptly.
Document maintenance, inspections, and repairs; ensure DOT/OSHA compliance.
Maintain safe, organized work area and use PPE; provide customer-facing safety checks as needed.
Coordinate with rental managers, dispatch, and drivers to prioritize repairs.
