Job summary

Zūm Services, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure our fleet of school buses stays in safe, optimal condition by determining required repairs and maintenance in line with regulatory standards.

The role requires 2–4 years of medium/heavy truck fleet repair experience, strong diagnostic, electrical, and AC skills, and knowledge of diesel systems. ASE certification is desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two to four years medium/heavy truck fleet mechanic repair experience.
• Diagnostic, Electrical, and AC skills are a must.
• Technical knowledge of major vehicle systems and diesel equipment is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctions and perform vehicle repairs following Federal, State/Provincial and local guidelines.
• Test-drive vehicles to ensure repairs fixed the problem.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work area.
• Record time spent and parts used on repair forms.
• Perform road calls and on-the-road repairs as assigned.
