Lignetics Inc. is seeking a Fleet Diesel Technician at our White Pigeon facility in Michigan. This full-time role involves performing maintenance and diagnostics on diesel equipment, with a focus on safety and reliability.

The position requires experience with diesel systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read service manuals. OT may be required, and the shop environment emphasizes teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience maintaining and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and services on diesel equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and aftertreatment system issues.
• Utilize diagnostic software and electronic troubleshooting tools.
• Complete work orders accurately and document repairs performed.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure DOT compliance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Respond to road calls and emergency repairs as needed.
• Communicate equipment status and repair recommendations to supervisor.
• Assist in maintaining parts inventory and shop tools.
