EMSA East Division in Tulsa, OK seeks a skilled automotive technician to maintain a fleet including ambulances and trailers. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose diesel engine issues on Ford and Chevy vehicles, and ensure records are up to date.

Valid Oklahoma driver's license and a technical training are required. This role demands punctuality, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while following safety and DOT compliant procedures.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
• Vocational/Technical school program or apprenticeship in auto repair required.
• Two years of related experience with Ford and Chevy diesel engine diagnosis and repair preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Mansioni

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance including oil changes and tune-ups on ambulances, trailers, and other vehicles.
• Conduct testing and diagnostic assessment on parts, systems and vehicles to ensure proper functioning.
• Perform routine assessments on systems per SOPs or departmental checklists.
• Ensure maintenance and repair schedules support urgent operational needs and resource deployment.
• Deploy to unit/vehicle locations as necessary to mitigate downtime.
• Test drive vehicle to confirm safe and proper operation.
• Maintain vehicle repair and maintenance records.
• Adhere to safety standards and policies.
• Communicate professionally and maintain confidentiality; demonstrate ethical conduct.
