Job summary

S&W Ready Mix is expanding operations in Fayetteville, NC and seeks an experienced Fleet Diesel Mechanic Shop Foreman Supervisor to lead the maintenance shop. The role coordinates maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles, ensuring high availability and adherence to safety and environmental standards.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of diesel maintenance experience, strong leadership, and the ability to oversee preventative maintenance programs and shop workflows in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years relevant experience.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing Class 8 diesel engines, hydraulics, suspensions, drive-train, electrical, A/C, brakes, and diagnostics.
• Must be able to operate computerized maintenance management systems and basic electrical welding.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, services and/or repairs fleet vehicles including Freight Trucks and Ready Mix Trucks.
• Provides direction, leadership, and assistance to maintenance and parts room personnel.
• Maintains a clean and environmentally responsible work area.
• Coordinates repairs and services within Company guidelines.
• Responsible for accurate, timely and quality paperwork/submittals.
• Monitors shop efficiency through effective time management.
• Adheres to Company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Participates in training and development within the job classification.
• Manages parts and material inventory for assigned area.
