Job summary

Way Delivery Services in Lancaster County, PA is seeking a diesel mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will diagnose malfunctions, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure vehicles meet safety regulations.

A strong work ethic and ability to work independently or with a team are essential. Requirements include 3+ years of experience, emissions license, and a valid CDL A (preferred).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Adaptability to shift tasks.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
• Ability to lift up to 150 lbs.
• Commitment to safety.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, state inspections and brake inspections.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Assist with inspections and road testing when needed.
