Job summary
Swift Transportation in Ocala, FL is hiring experienced Diesel Mechanics to join our fleet maintenance team. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on tractors, trailers, and related equipment.
You will work a Tuesday through Saturday 6am–5pm shift. The position offers comprehensive benefits, overtime eligibility, and ongoing OEM training with manufacturers like Freightliner, International, Volvo, Cummins, and Detroit.
Qualifications
- High School or equivalent required.
- Driver's license required.
- Ability to read and understand repair manuals and repair orders.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections on tractors, trailers and support equipment.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment to OEM specs.
- Disassemble and reassemble heavy truck and trailer components.
- Perform tire maintenance and safety checks.
